This is a project I worked on for the New Year 2025. With this calendar, I played more with typography and colors—fresh color combinations with the hope of a joyful and happy new year. I really love the color pink, so I’d say the September page is my favorite in the set. The typography turned out just the way I wanted; the contrast in font weights gives a vibrant and pleasant feel. What I love most about this project is that it’s a New Year’s gift I made for my loved ones. Since I didn’t have much of a budget, I couldn’t print many copies, but I still feel very happy to be able to give my family and friends something I created myself.

This year, I want to incorporate Vietnamese cultural elements into my work. The outfit is heavily inspired by Nhật Bình - a traditional attire mixed with Ouji Lolita fashion. The main color of the piece is drawn from my birthstone—pearl. Blending traditional values with modern elements is what I aim to achieve with this creation and i really proud of how it turned out.

The main color I chose is blue, which is also her favorite color. As someone emotional and feminine, I wanted those traits to be reflected in my design choices.

This is a project I created for myself. I’ve always loved films since I was a child — they bring me a wide range of emotions, help me relieve stress, and allow my mind to relax. Personally, I’m not someone who’s very good at using words to express my feelings, which is why I want to convey the emotions I experience while watching films through my creative work.Through imagery, layout, typography, colors, and more — every element reflects how I feel when I take in each scene. You could see this as a small corner where I express my thoughts, emotions, and affection for cinema.That’s also the reason why this project is called “Shapin’ the Feelin’” — giving form to emotions.Beyond just film, I hope to one day expand this project to include music, paintings, and other forms of art that bring me powerful emotions worth expressing. It’s my way of connecting with others — and with myself..

The Sapphire of the Imperial Night

My mom and my aunt usually have their birthdays celebrated together, so I blended aspects of both their personalities to design this box. Their birthday also falls close to Valentine’s Day, so I incorporated many heart elements. The color palette brings a sweet and gentle feeling — not too bright. I think I did a good job.

I was trusted by everyone and put in charge of the product’s visual aspects. Despite many shortcomings, our project achieved well-deserved success and became a memorable part of our high school journey.</h3><span style="--fontSizeDesktop: 18px; --fontSizeMobile: 15px; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(115, 115, 115); text-transform: none" class="fs-desktop fs-mobile">In the end, we won second place and the award for the most impressive display booth.In the initial stages of development, we encountered many difficulties because we hadn’t yet found a clear direction for the entire game set. Everything went more smoothly after I chose three keywords: Traditional – Modern – Vibrant. All the designs closely followed these elements in terms of patterns, colors, and wording. The product’s logo was inspired by the five-color flag, adapted to fit the theme and direction of the game.

This is another small project I made for my loved ones and friends. To be honest, since I was taught to be independent from a young age, my connection with others hasn’t been particularly close. That’s why, as I grow older, I want to strengthen my bond with my family members more. It’s also the reason I want to use my interests to create something meaningful for them. With this project, I put more effort into the gifts I gave, but I know that it’s the packaging I designed myself that they cherish the most.

"Xà Phia" is my 2025 Lunar New Year mascot -&nbsp; ghostly figure hiding within the old palace, acting as a guide for lost souls, helping them return to the realm of the red sun to reunite with departed loved ones on the New Year’s day.“Xà Phia” is a combination of “Xà”, meaning snake, and “Phia”, a regional pronunciation of “Khuya”, which means late night or darkness. Altogether, “Xà Phia” is also a homophone of Sapphire
